I always presumed that writing for an audience would change my style, although in earnest I had no idea how.
The why was a mystery but less so than what changes writing for an audience, even a fictional one, would arise in my writing.
The ignorance of that topic now dispelled, I can see the change, and I do not like it.
I fight against it even as I am typing this very text.
Questions like “why would you care?” are answered by, “I don’t.”
Follow up question of “then why is your writing changing?” is the one I intend to answer in this text.
Truly I do not care, writing is the single total freedom everyone who knows how to write has, myself I am not any different.

See? Who cares? It changes nothing, but it is what I wanted to type so I do.
If I were to put an idea to the feeling it would be, chained.
I have been enchained with the idea that someone might read this, and although I do not yet have the reason why, my writing is affected by that idea.
To my fellow writers, if you read this, BE FREE! Write what you want! Its truly what this world is lacking, originality is more rare than perfection now a days when seen from the lense of Formal Criticism.
To the reader, how does it feel to know that your very act of reading anything has an affect on the writer? Even if we never know who you are or what you think? A question I am currently plagued by for I do am a reader.
Happy Wednesday. (Some humid place in South East Texas.)
